Although it’s not quite frosty cold here, it can be almost nippy at times. It’s also true that butterflies are still flying even at this time of year. I watched several following the butterfly trail across my backyard a couple of days ago. It was sunny. They didn’t look all that cold. The air was just crisp enough to remind me of Winter. Earlier today, about 4 PM, a chilly near-full-moon popped up over the horizon in a very blue sky.
