Haiga ~ Image with Haiku as One Work

  1. Stunning. The words against the image - says it all.

  2. aloha Sherry Blue Sky. this planet amazes me. sometimes it leaves me almost wordless.

i'm beginning to think that is where haiku is. that wordless state.

which leads me to think that written haiku is our way of approaching that wordless state so that others understand.

of course sometimes listening to my own words helps me understand at times too.

mahalo (thank you) for that opportunity to think in words - aloha.

    1. aloha Cynthia - thank you. this is a photo i took maybe 20 years ago now. it's in Indonesia where i was fortunate to be able to travel and see a lot of the agricultural processes there were being used at that time. the visual aspect of that trip was beautiful. as were the people. aloha.
